Films: Plague of the Zombies (1966)
Alias: None
Type: Mystical
Location: Civilized Area/Underground
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Evil
Summary: Oh boy, somebody's using voodoo again. And what's that? He's summoning the undead, too? How typical!
History: A squire by the name of Clive Hamilton once went to Haiti to learn a bit of voodoo magic, and he got it. So what does one do with the power to raise the dead? Raise the dead, of course! And make them do all your underground chores while spreading an undead plague that goes killing everybody. Fanatics will be flocking to your side in no time!
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: After someone sets Hamilton's little voodoo coffins on fire, the zombies go aflame alongside their master and his followers.
Powers/Abilities: Can shrug off most damage, and spread a deadly plague wherever they go.
Weakness: Aim for the head! That, or burn the coffins containing the blood-soaked figures that power them.
Scariness Factor: 4-You have to admit that for the inherent saturation of zombies, these guys set something of a standard with how savage-looking they were. Looking less like zombies and more like green madmen, these disease-carriers would strike fear into the bravest men.
Trivia: -This film was shot back-to-back with "The Reptile", complete with some of the same sets and stuff!
-Hamilton was played by John Carson, who had more than a thing for playing bad guys in adventure series in the 60s.
